Personal Opinions in Emails from Relacom
Opinions and thoughts expressed in an email message can be the personal opinions and thoughts
of the sender of the message,
and not neccesary any opinions shared by the company even though the message was sent from Relacom's email system.
Filtered Content
Emails with content not allowed by our email policy will be dropped (deleted) and cannot be recovered. A
notification message will be sent internally within Relacom explaining what happened to the original
email. Examples of such content are all types of executable files, such as .exe, .msi, .pif.
Note: Emails bigger than 25 MB will not be accepted at all regardless of what type of content that was attached.
Viruses and Worms
All normal emails originating from an employees mailbox is scanned using three different
antivirus solutions,
where infected emails will be dropped (deleted) if the infection cannot be repaired. Notifications
will never be sent to external recipients since this might be considered to be spam by some organizations.
Notification emails will always be kept internal within Relacom.
Trusted Relacom Email Servers
All Relacom emails on Interent is originated from the following three email servers:
- smtpam1.relacom.com [200.143.22.25]
- smtpas1.relacom.com [203.146.110.121]
- smtpeu1.relacom.com [194.17.33.25]
If you
receive emails from Relacom mail addresses sent by other servers and IP addresses they might be
fake. As the standard for Internet email allows the sender to use any address as he likes, Internet
emails should always be treated as suspicious unless Secure Email is being used.

Secure Email
Relacom supports the S/MIME standard using x509 certificates to sign and/or encrypt email and their content.
